FRANK BOZZO


Patent Attorney

For over twenty years, Frank Bozzo has worked in the area of patent law, including preparation and prosecution, litigation, and legal education. After graduating magna cum laude from Brown University with an Electrical Engineering degree, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia where he was named to the National Appellate Moot Court Team. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications for computer hardware and software, telecommunications systems, interactive television delivery systems, mechanical devices, and aerospace systems. Mr. Bozzo has counseled clients regarding both U.S. and foreign patent matters.

    Mr. Bozzo worked as a Systems Engineer for IBM Corporation prior to attending law school. Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Bozzo concentrated on intellectual property litigation and was on the trial team for Markman v. Westview Instruments. Before returning to private practice several years ago, Mr. Bozzo was a member of the law school faculty at the University of Arkansas, where he taught intellectual property law and other courses.

    EDUCATION


    Mr. Bozzo has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude. His Juris Doctorate is from the University of Virginia, where he was named to the National Appellate Moot Court Team and the Criminal Practice Clinic and was selected as a Dillard Teaching Fellow.
