Mario Donato is a registered patent attorney with over seventeen years of experience in intellectual property law, including domestic and foreign intellectual property procurement, exploitation, enforcement, as well as counseling in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Mr. Donato has a broad range of legal experience in patent matters, including domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution, patent infringement and litigation matters (enforcement and defense), patent reexamination proceedings, opinions, licensing, and various matters related to mergers and acquisitions involving intellectual property.

PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining the Toler Law Group, Intellectual Properties, Mr. Donato was Director of Intellectual Property & Licensing, U.S. & Asia, for STMicroelectronics, Inc. His background also includes service as a patent attorney for Motorola; an intellectual property attorney for Caterpillar; and as an associate for an IP boutique. Mr. Donato also worked as an engineer for five years at Hughes Aircraft Company.
EDUCATION
Mr. Donato has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law.
