DR. SAMUEL EPSTEIN
Senior Patent Attorney
Samuel Epstein, Ph.D., is a registered patent attorney who has represented clients during all phases of patent preparation and prosecution before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in the technical fields of electronics, software, optics, applied physics, and mechanical devices. Dr. Epstein has also advised clients regarding business strategies using intellectual property rights. Additionally, he has performed patent infringement and validity analysis and has experience in patent litigation matters.

Dr. Epstein was a semi-conductor process engineer for Intel for two years, as well as the chief scientist at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for four years.
EDUCATION
Dr. Epstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the City College of New York, a Master of Science in Physics from Penn State University, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Solid State Physics from the University of Oregon, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law where he was the 2004 Moot Court Winner in the University's Client Counseling Competition.
